My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and nice, but there was a faint 'wet dog' smell that lingered throughout our stay. The service was a bit unsettling, with staff members holding dogs while preparing food and one even following me into my room. The location, although inviting and close to the hospital, was not as convenient to restaurants. The dining options were average, with prepackaged muffins and biscuits, but there were plenty of choices. The facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean and a very nice size, offering a spacious and quiet environment. I paid for an upgraded room but got into a cheaper one, which was a great deal overall. The service was a mix of unique charming professionals; while some were very helpful and friendly, others were a bit rude during check-in. The hotel's location between Baton Rouge and New Orleans was perfect for visiting with friends and family, near all the restaurants. The area also offered a great deal in fishing charters and places of general interest, but it's essential to have a 4WD. The dining experience was excellent, with something to please everyone, although in two different cities. The facilities were top-notch, especially the canapes.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, although the breakfast was not the best. The service was friendly and attentive, and the location was convenient. The hotel offers a peaceful setting away from the interstate noise.
